Vetti our Mission Development Manager has been busy creating exciting and easy ways to keep the children learning and busy during the COVID19 lockdown.

This time around we are going fishing!

Have a look at this great idea:

What do I need to make this?

Egg Carton

Tissue Paper

Pipe Cleaner

A Stick

String

How to do this?

Cut the egg carton lid off.

Line this with tissue paper.

This is your pool.

Now shape your pipe cleaner into some fish.

Shape another pipe cleaner into a hook.

Tie the hook with string to a stick.

It’s fishing time!!

Bring in math learning by seeing how many fish you can catch in one minute!

This fun activity is teaching and developing:

Fine motor skills

Hand to eye co-ordination

Creativity

Problem Solving

Awareness of size, shapes, and colours
