Milestones for Children’s Development
11 September 2020Sometimes as a parent or carer we can wonder things like,
“Is my child’s development on track for their age?”
“Is that normal?”
My eldest didn’t do that… should I be worried?”
There’s a real information overload in our modern world… we sure know how it can be an awful lot to navigate!
Remember though, you don’t have to go at this alone!!
At Integricare, we are equipped to chat, support, and guide using professional opinions and strategies.
We can also be a listening ear or even link you up with suitable referrals.

We know and preach as professionals, that children’s development is not linear, every individual is different.
Children will grow at their own rate and pace.
However, there is a document that can give some guidance on common indicators and stages when it comes to development!
This is the “Developmental Milestones” booklet.
This document aligns with our curriculum the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework), NQS (National Quality Standards), and was developed by Community Child Care Co-operative Ltd (NSW).
This booklet shows developmental information for physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language areas from birth to age 5.
It also shows guidance on where it is recommended to “seek advice.”
