Pendle Hill Preschool
Integricare’s early learning centre at Pendle Hill, in partnership with Pendle Hill Baptist church, offers a preschool service perfect for children aged 3-5 years. We provide a preschool curriculum operating in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). This provides crucial early learning development and a School Readiness Program for attending children – ensuring that the transition to primary school is smooth both socially and academically. Pendle Hill Preschool operates from 8:10am-3:30pm and offers 45 places for children.
Pendle Hill Preschool champions Integricare’s purpose to enable children, families and communities to experience the love of Jesus, as well as Integricare’s core mission objectives. Firstly, the pursuit of excellence in early learning to ensure that these most crucial developmental years for the children are full of learning opportunities. Secondly, Pendle Hill staff endeavour to equip and care for families holistically – going the extra mile to engage and support children and their families. Thirdly, Pendle Hill Preschool prioritises community engagement, regularly partnering with local initiatives and maintaining close ties to Pendle Hill Baptist Church.
Our qualified educators help to provide children with every opportunity to thrive. This includes extending their language, literacy and numeracy, teaching them to be creative and to take initiative, bolstering their confidence and independence as well as their social aptitude amongst their peers. All of this sets children up for a successful transition into primary school.
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
– Benjamin Franklin
Traditionally known as Kinder Kapers, Pendle Hill Preschool works in partnership with and is located at Pendle Hill Baptist Church.
The team of educators at our preschool are committed to addressing the specific needs of the local community and offer a curriculum that is both diverse and engaging. Staff offer an open, friendly child based centre catering to the needs of the Pendle Hill community. Pendle Hill Preschool has an extensive play area that provides a great way of developing the children’s gross motor skills whilst at the same time offering the chance for quiet interaction with the children. Parents are highly valued as partners in the educational process and running of the centre. The aim is to provide a safe, happy and challenging environment where children can thrive.
In this day and age, it’s great to have a centre that promotes traditional family and Christian values. I feel that my child is in safe hands.
The outdoor area is a pleasure to be in and my toddler finds it fascinating and inviting. Natural play materials are inviting and challenging. Such a great space to learn and develop in.
Thanks for letting us know about our child’s development at Integricare. We also appreciate the observation notes you’ve provided regarding her speech. We are so grateful that she has such a patient and companionate teacher. You really put the “care” in “daycare”. Please extend our thanks to the team for all the wonderful things you’ve taught our daughter.
The staff care for my children like family. I can’t speak highly enough of them!
We would like to thank you for all your hard work, support and encouragement that you have given in the rainbow group. My son loved every minute of preschool and always came home full of enthusiasm and stories to tell. I want to take the opportunity to say "thank you" for your kindness, friendly behaviour, patience and discipline.
Both my kids with autism spectrum disorder have had wonderful experiences with Integricare, and I myself have experienced great friendship and comfort from staff.
I love the teachers! How they care so much for my child. One of them takes extra effort to put my baby to sleep which is I think very exceptional!
My child learnt to eat new foods, socialise with friends and grew in confidence during her 3 years at Integricare!
The learning is organic and spontaneous which I love.
My 4 year old used to cry hysterically, in just a month he overcame this all thanks to loving and caring staff.
Educators are very caring and nurturing. I feel confident leaving my child with educators even when he is upset with separation anxiety.
The staff are attentive and aware of each child's individual personality, interests and needs.
