Integricare Christian Early Education Centres

We’re about freeing you to do ministry and leaving the rest to us

The early education sector continues to become more complex as it deals with increasing regulatory, compliance and accreditation requirements. This often leaves a church-based centre managing a high level of risk and issues that do not relate to early education and church ministry. Churches have worked with us over the years to minimise their personal risk and transfer the burden of compliance to us, allowing your leaders to focus on reaching the community.

We have non-denominational approach to our relationship with churches. Our history in the early learning sector has spanned over 50 years, along a number community-based ministries. Integricare has a strong track record in transitioning centres and integrating them into our network so that educators can focus on what you do best.

Questions to ask yourself, if your church currently operates a church-based centre.
  1. What risk management system do you have in place that protects you as a church and your members?
  2. Does your centre have a management committee and are they aware of the risk they are personally taking on in their role?
  3. Is the church keeping up with regulatory and compliance training?
  4. How faith-based is your centre, are you connecting with children and families in missional manner?
  5. How confident are you that you are compliant with employment law and administering your payroll correctly?
  6. If you have Christians or members of your church in the centre, to what extent do they see their role as an expression of their faith?
  7. What support systems do you have in place when your managers and employees are under stress?

Is your church is considering this as a new ministry opportunity?

If your church is new or looking at re-vitalising its connection with the local community, early education offers an excellent opportunity to connect with young families in your area. Christian education, and particularly early education, gives you a unique opportunity for local families to experience the love of Jesus. Alternatively, you may be considering planting a new church and seeking to connect with the local community immediately.

Why Partner with Integricare?

Mission-focussed partnerships
Most of the centres we have adopted have come from churches wanting to focus on their core purpose or re-position their early education centre as a ministry with a stronger focus on mission. We also remove most of the risk associated with a highly regulated sector from your church.

We are faith-informed, not-for-profit and community-based
Our Board and senior leaders represent a wide range of denominations and are active in their faith and ministry. We offer employees, families and children an environment that is proactive in practicing its faith in a respectful and considerate manner.

Our families rate us very highly
Our annual survey of families tells that the majority of our families rate our level of educational quality and care as either “exceptional” or “excellent”.

We are not-for-profit

We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and have been a not-for-profit organisation since our inception in 1882. Our resources are reinvested into our facilities, staff and programs that assist children and families. Our motivation is to see children, families and communities being transformed.

We focus on each other’s strengths

Integricare can minimise the burden of managing an early education centre, thus freeing operators to focus on their core strengths and competencies.

This is particularly true of church partnerships where the transfer of management to Integricare allows them to focus on ministry and pastoral care.
