Care and learning for children aged 0–5 at Integricare Early Learning Centres
You know your child. We start there.
Before your child starts with us, we listen. We ask how they sleep, eat and settle, what they enjoy and what you’ve noticed lately. What you share helps our educators understand your child before their first day.
And that conversation keeps going once they start.
What are their routines?
Sleep, feeds, mealtimes and the shape of the day at home tell us what your child is used to. Our educators use those patterns to make the day feel familiar, then gently introduce new routines, foods and experiences as your child becomes comfortable.
What helps them settle?
A special item, song, familiar words or way of being comforted can make a big difference. We use what you share with us to respond in ways your child recognises, helping them feel more at ease as they build a relationship with their educators.
What interests them?
Favourite books, songs, textures, objects and games show us what captures your child’s attention. Our educators start there, using what your child already loves to build connection and open up new ways to play and learn.
How do they respond to new experiences?
Some children are ready to explore straight away. Others prefer to watch, stay close and take their time. Our educators follow your child’s cues and offer reassurance, so they can take as long as they need to feel comfortable.
What early learning adds
Home is where your child has their deepest and most familiar relationships. Early learning adds something different: trained educators, spaces designed for this stage and the experience of spending time alongside other children.
It gives your child another small community to grow into, with new experiences and relationships alongside everything they are already learning at home.
More than “they had a good day”
When they cannot tell you about their day yet, the details matter. We share what caught their attention, what made them laugh, what they kept trying, who they connected with and what they are beginning to do for themselves. You get more than a list of what happened. You get a clearer picture of what mattered to them that day.
Every child is valued here
Integricare is a Christian not-for-profit, and our faith shapes the way we see and care for every child.
We believe every child has inherent worth and deserves to be known, respected and included. That shapes the relationships we build, the patience we bring and the kind of community we create around children and families. Families from every background are welcome, whether or not they share our faith.
