Preschool at Strathfield

Integricare’s early learning centre at Strathfield provides a Preschool service perfect for children aged 3-5 years, teaching a preschool curriculum operating in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). This provides crucial early learning education, supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This helps children to develop their self-confidence, independence, and resilience.  Our entire program is based on children’s interests and strengths which is supporting a smooth transition to school. Strathfield Preschool operates from 8:10am-3:30pm and offers 45 places for children.

Strathfield Preschool champions Integricare’s purpose to enable children, families, and communities to experience the love of Jesus, as well as Integricare’s core mission objectives. Firstly, the pursuit of excellence in early learning ensures that these most crucial developmental years are full of learning opportunities. Secondly, Strathfield educators endeavour to equip and care for families holistically – going the extra mile to engage and support children and their families. Thirdly, Strathfield Preschool prioritises community engagement, regularly partnering with local initiatives.

Our qualified educators help to provide children with every opportunity to thrive. This includes extending their language, literacy, and numeracy, teaching them to be creative and to take initiative, bolstering their confidence and independence as well as their social aptitude amongst their peers. All of this set’s children up for a successful transition into primary school.

About us

What our families are saying about our Integricare Strathfield team:

“Thank you for everything! Having been at the preschool for many years I would like to say that you have done a really great job, with many positive changes. I really like how you engage with every child and are always there when needed. You know the ins and outs of every child along with the parents, as well!

Well, what else can I say except keep up the GREAT work you are doing!”

Integricare Preschool Strathfield is a Christian early learning centre located on the same site as what was formerly known as the Strathfield West Women’s Bowling Club. The expansive outdoor educational environment exists on what was once a bowling green. With this beautiful space, we acknowledge we are on the traditional lands of the Eora people of the Wangal clan.

The team of professional educators at Strathfield Preschool provide an educational program that aims to meet the diverse needs of all children who attend the preschool. An inclusive curriculum aims to ensure that each child in the centre is fully involved in the program. Educators embrace the concept of children being successful learners. Parents are encouraged to participate in the program by communicating with educators around the expectations for their child’s learning. Educators document the children’s learning through the online platform Storypark.

Why Choose Integricare?

At Integricare Preschool Strathfield, we are committed to providing excellent learning and care for your child. Families entrust their children to us because:
  • We are inclusive: We welcome all families from various backgrounds, diverse cultures and many faiths.
  • Of our staff: Our families consistently rate our passionate educators highly, who are known for going the extra mile for children.
  • Our size is just right: Our network of early learning centres is not so extensive that we are too large, and we are not so small that we don’t have the resources to provide an excellent learning environment. We have a healthy balance that easily enables the sharing of knowledge amongst our network of educators, which translates into the quality of our programs.
  • We are not-for-profit: Our commitment to excellence is driven by exceptional educational outcomes first and foremost, without compromising our need to also operate a business responsibly.
  • We see parents as first educators: We believe that families are children’s first educators and that our role is to work closely with them as co-educators.
  • Of our Christian identity: We have a strong Christian ethic and a rich history, having served families since 1882. It’s in our DNA to reflect the Christian faith in a way that is valued by families.
